Developer Day Apps4Norge @meterologisk Institutt
You can win up to 50 000,- NOK by creating a web / mobile application which uses minimum one public dataset from data.norge.no. But you can also win up to 6000,- NOK just by submitting an idea for an app! Norwegian Meteorological Institute and Apps4Norge invites you to a developer day where you can play with data ranging from weather data, traffic, company and health related data to mention some.

- Speaker Andreas Krohn from Nordic APIs - 20 APIs in 20 minutes - There are APIs for everything and in 20 minutes we will take a quick look at 20 different APIs ranging from the very useful to the completely crazy. The goal is to inspire new ideas by giving a quick overview of the range of data and functionality available to all developers today.
- New data launch:Vegvesenet and Norsk Reiseinformasjon (NRI) is launching new datasets on data.norge.no, and there will be a some more dataowners that will present the new datasets they are launching for the competition (Trafikanten +).
Hacking evening, Tuesday, 5th March 14.30
We have set up 40 seats with power and wired network, and we will arrange for pizza and drinks. Developers from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and IT people from other data owners will join us. You don't have to be registered for the competition to join.
